Car
If you're driving, head towards Szczawa, which is the nearest town to Wodospad Spad. From Kraków, take the DK7 road towards Nowy Targ, then continue on the DK47 towards Szczawnica. Once you reach Szczawa, look for signs directing you to the waterfall. There is a small parking area near the trailhead. Please note that parking may require a small fee, typically around 10 PLN for a day.
Public Transportation
To reach Wodospad Spad via public transport, take a bus from Kraków to Nowy Targ. From Nowy Targ, catch a local bus heading to Szczawa. Buses run regularly, but it’s advisable to check the timetable in advance. Once you arrive in Szczawa, you can either walk to the waterfall (approximately a 30-minute walk) or take a taxi if you're short on time. The taxi ride should cost around 20-30 PLN.
Hiking
Once you arrive in Szczawa, if you opt to hike to Wodospad Spad, follow the marked trails starting from the village. The hike is approximately 2 kilometers and should take about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep in sections.
