Getting There

  • Car

    From any point in Kampinos National Park, head towards the nearest major road, which is DK7 (National Road 7). Follow DK7 south towards Warsaw. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the city limits of Warsaw. Once in the city, follow the signs for the city center (Śródmieście). As you enter the city center, keep an eye out for signs leading to Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie. The Museum of Modern Art will be located at Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 22, which is near the Vistula River. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur a fee.

    If you prefer to use public transportation, start by finding the nearest bus or train station in Kampinos National Park. Take a bus or train heading to Warsaw. The PKP Intercity trains are a convenient option that connects various towns to Warsaw. Once you arrive at Warsaw Central Station (Warszawa Centralna), you can transfer to the metro. Take Metro Line M1 (the red line) towards Młociny, and at the Świętokrzyska station, transfer to Metro Line M2 (the blue line) towards Rondo Daszyńskiego. Get off at the 'Rondo ONZ' station. From there, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take tram line 10 towards 'Młociny' and get off at the 'Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie' stop. The museum is a short walk from the tram stop.
