Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head towards the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) located at the center of the square. Exit the square through the northeastern side, taking a left onto ul. Floriańska. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with plac Mariacki. You will see the iconic St. Mary's Basilica on your right and the lovely square ahead.

    If you are coming from Wawel Castle, exit the castle grounds and walk towards the Vistula River. Follow the riverbank heading north until you reach the bridge (Most Dębnicki). Cross the bridge and continue straight onto ul. Stradomska. As you proceed, bear left onto ul. Karmelicka, then right onto ul. Floriańska. Keep walking until you arrive at plac Mariacki, which is just a short distance ahead on your left, with St. Mary's Basilica prominently visible.

    From the Galeria Krakowska shopping center, exit onto ul. Pawia and head towards the Main Train Station. Once at the station, follow the signs leading to the Main Market Square. Upon reaching the square, navigate towards the Cloth Hall and exit through the northeastern side of the square. Walk along ul. Floriańska until you arrive at plac Mariacki, where you will find St. Mary's Basilica.

    If you are near the Kraków Główny train station, you can take tram number 8 or 10 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Teatr Bagatela' stop. From there, walk towards ul. Karmelicka and turn left onto ul. Floriańska. Continue straight until you reach plac Mariacki, which will be on your right, featuring St. Mary's Basilica.
