    If you are starting from the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), head northwest on Grodzka Street towards Wawel Castle. Continue straight until you reach the Vistula River. Cross the river using the nearest bridge (Most Grunwaldzki). Once across, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach Aleja 3 Maja. The National Museum will be on your left at Aleja 3 Maja 1.

    From the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop 'Sukiennice' and take tram line 3 or 19 towards the 'Krowodrza Górka' or 'Wzgórza Krzesławickie'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Muzeum Narodowe' stop. The National Museum is directly across the street from the tram stop.
