Getting There

• Train

  From Sopot, head to the Sopot train station (Sopot Główny). You can walk there in about 10-15 minutes from the center of Sopot. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Gdynia. Trains run frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. The journey to Gdynia takes about 15 minutes. After arriving at Gdynia Główna station, exit the station and head towards the main road (al. Jana Pawła II). From Gdynia Główna, it is a 20-minute walk to the Gdynia Aquarium, located at al. Jana Pawła II 1. Follow the signs towards the waterfront, and you will find the aquarium along the promenade.

• Bus

  From Sopot, walk to the nearest bus stop (e.g., 'Sopot - PKP' or 'Sopot - Monte Cassino'). Take bus number 100 or 102 towards Gdynia. The bus ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Gdynia - Aquapark.' From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Gdynia Aquarium at al. Jana Pawła II 1. Simply follow the road signs or ask locals for directions if needed.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Sopot. Head towards the coastal bike path that connects Sopot and Gdynia. The bike ride along the coast is scenic and takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on your speed. Upon reaching Gdynia, follow the bike path to al. Jana Pawła II, where you will find the Gdynia Aquarium at number 1.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy walking, you can take a leisurely stroll from Sopot to Gdynia. The distance is approximately 4 kilometers, and it will take about 1 hour to walk. Head along the beach promenade heading north towards Gdynia. Keep walking until you reach the end of the promenade, then follow the signs towards al. Jana Pawła II. The aquarium is located at al. Jana Pawła II 1, and you will see it as you approach the waterfront.
