Start in the heart of Old Town, at the Royal Castle (Zamek Królewski). From there, walk down Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy) towards the Vistula River. Continue straight onto the Krakowskie Przedmieście street, a beautiful historic avenue. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Aleje Jerozolimskie. Cross over to the other side of the street and continue walking straight. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Grób Nieznanego Żołnierza) is located at Plac Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego, which is about 500 meters from this intersection. You will see the impressive monument on your left. The walk takes around 15-20 minutes.

If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest tram stop, which can be found on Krakowskie Przedmieście. You can catch tram line 22 or 24 towards the 'Wilanów' or 'Okęcie' direction. Get off at the 'Teatr Wielki' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Plac Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego. Head south on ul. Królewska, and you will reach the tomb in about 5 minutes. The tram ride typically costs around 4.40 PLN for a single ticket.

Alternatively, you can take a bus from Old Town. Locate the nearest bus stop, which is usually found along the main streets. Take bus line 127 or 175 toward the 'Muzeum Narodowe' direction. Get off at the 'Plac Defilad' stop. From there, walk toward Plac Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego, which is about a 10-minute walk. A single bus ticket costs approximately 4.40 PLN.
