Walking
From the center of Zakopane, head towards Krupówki Street, the main pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants. Walk southwest for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with ul. Jagiellońska. Continue straight on ul. Jagiellońska, which will take you towards the lower station of the funicular to Gubałówka. At this point, you can enjoy the views or continue walking to the Tatra National Park entrance.

Funicular
If you prefer taking the funicular, find the lower station of the Gubałówka funicular, which is located near the intersection of Krupówki and ul. Jagiellońska. Purchase a ticket and ride the funicular to the top of Gubałówka Mountain. Once you disembark, follow the well-marked trails leading down towards Kuźnice, where the entrance to Tatra National Park is located. The distance from the funicular exit to Kuźnice is approximately 2 kilometers.

You can also take a local bus from the Zakopane bus station. Look for bus lines heading towards Kuźnice. The bus station is located near the main square. Board the bus; the journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Kuźnice stop, which is the main entrance to Tatra National Park.
