Walking
If you are in the center of Zakopane, start at the Krupówki Street, which is the main pedestrian area. Head towards the north end of Krupówki Street until you reach the intersection with ul. Zamoyskiego. Turn left onto ul. Zamoyskiego and continue walking straight until you reach the bus stop named 'Kuznice'. From here, you can catch the local bus number 11 or 12 that goes directly to Kuźnice. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Kuźnice, follow the signs towards the Tatra National Park entrance, which is only a short walk from the bus stop.

To reach Tatra National Park at Kuźnice from Zakopane, take the local bus from the main bus station, known as 'Dworzec Autobusowy', located near the center. Look for bus routes 11 or 12, which are clearly marked. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they may not run frequently. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride that lasts approximately 20 minutes. Upon disembarking at the Kuźnice stop, walk towards the Tatra National Park entrance, which is well-signposted.

For a more comfortable journey, consider taking a taxi to Tatra National Park at Kuźnice. You can easily find taxis along Krupówki Street or call one from your accommodation. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to ask the driver to take you to 'Kuźnice' which is the entrance to Tatra National Park. Ensure you agree on a price or ask for the meter to be used before starting your ride.
