Bus
From Chaves city center, head to the Chaves bus station located at Avenida 5 de Outubro. Take a bus heading towards Ribeira de Pena. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ribeira de Pena bus stop, walk towards the main road (N103). Take a left and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you see signage for Pena Aventura on your right.
Walking
If you are near the center of Chaves, you can take a scenic walk towards Pena Aventura. Head east on Rua do Comércio towards the bridge over the Tâmega River. Cross the bridge and continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, continue straight for another 500 meters. You will see signs for Pena Aventura on your left. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water as the walk is approximately 3 kilometers.
Taxi
For a quicker option, you can hire a taxi from any location in Chaves. Simply ask the driver to take you to Pena Aventura, located at Rua do, Travessa do Complexo Turístico de Lamelas 2, Portela de Santa Eulália, Ribeira de Pena. The taxi ride should take about 20 minutes depending on traffic.
