Getting There

  • Public Transport

    To reach Parque de Merendas from Coimbra, start at the Coimbra A train station. Take a train towards Tamengos. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tamengos station, exit the station and head towards the main road (N1). Turn left on the N1 and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Parque de Merendas along the route. The park is located just off the main road.

    If you prefer to walk, start from the city center of Coimbra, near Praça da República. Head towards the University of Coimbra and walk through the beautiful streets until you reach the train station, Coimbra A. From there, follow the public transport instructions to Tamengos. After arriving, walk the 1.5 kilometers along the N1 to reach Parque de Merendas.
