Walking
If you are starting from Coimbra city center, make your way to Praça 8 de Maio, a central square. From there, head east on Rua Ferreira Borges until you reach the intersection with Rua da Sofia. Turn left onto Rua da Sofia and continue straight until you reach the junction with Rua da Mãe de Água. Here, turn right. Continue along Rua da Mãe de Água until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida de Sá da Bandeira. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you see the sign for Rua das Areias. Turn left onto Rua das Areias, and Caves da Coimbra will be on your left at number 24.

From Coimbra city center, you can take the local bus service. Walk to the nearest bus stop at Praça 8 de Maio and catch bus number 34 towards São Martinho do Bispo. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Rua das Areias' stop. From there, walk along Rua das Areias, and you will find Caves da Coimbra at number 24.
