Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving in the Douro Valley, start by heading towards the town of Peso da Régua, which is a central point in the valley. From Peso da Régua, take the N-222 road towards Pinhão. Continue on this road for about 23 km. Once you reach Pinhão, look for signs indicating the direction to Sebolido. You will need to turn onto the local road that leads directly to Sebolido. The viewpoint is accessible with parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, first take a train from Porto to Peso da Régua, which is approximately a 2-hour journey. From Peso da Régua, you can catch a local bus heading towards Pinhão. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Once you reach Pinhão, it's advisable to arrange a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to Viewpoint Sebolido, as public transport options may be limited in that area.

• Walking

  For the more adventurous, if you find yourself in Pinhão, you can consider walking to Viewpoint Sebolido. The distance is roughly 5 km and may take around 1 to 1.5 hours on foot. Head north from Pinhão, following signs that lead to Sebolido. Ensure you have good walking shoes and plenty of water, as the route may be steep and uneven in parts.
