If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Peso da Régua, which is a central point in the Douro Valley. Head east on the N-222 road towards Lamego. After approximately 15 km, you will reach Lamego. Continue straight until you reach Rua do Relógio do Sol. Quinta da Pacheca is located at number 261. Look for the entrance marked with the winery's name. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the train from Porto to Peso da Régua. The journey takes about 2 hours. From Peso da Régua train station, you can catch a local bus (Bus number 8) to Lamego. Once you arrive in Lamego, you can either take a taxi or walk to Quinta da Pacheca, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop. The address is Rua do Relógio do Sol 261, 5100-424 Lamego. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct route after reaching Peso da Régua or Lamego, you can opt for a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber. From Peso da Régua, a taxi ride to Quinta da Pacheca will take approximately 20 minutes and cost around €15-€20 depending on traffic. From Lamego, the taxi ride will be shorter, taking about 10 minutes, costing around €10.
