Public Bus
From the center of Évora, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Évora, located at Rua de Afonso III. Look for the bus lines that head towards S. Miguel de Machede. You can take the bus number 103, which will take you close to Herdade da Pimenta. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you get off at the designated stop, walk for about 10 minutes towards Herdade da Pimenta, following the signs or using a map app.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the city center of Évora. After renting, head northeast on Avenida de São Sebastião. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto the road that leads towards S. Miguel de Machede. It’s about a 30-minute bike ride to Herdade da Pimenta. Follow the road signs to ensure you stay on the right path.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Évora Cathedral in the center. Walk south on Rua de Serpa Pinto, then take a right onto Rua 5 de Outubro. Continue straight until you reach the outer edge of the city and follow the signs towards S. Miguel de Machede. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and bring some water.
