From Faro city center, head to the bus station located near the Fórum Algarve shopping mall. Take bus number 16 towards Estoi. The bus departs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Estoi stop. Once you disembark, walk straight for about 500 meters along the main road, and you will see the Roman Ruins of Milreu on your left.

If you're staying in the city center and prefer to walk, head northeast towards Rua de Portugal. Continue straight until you reach Av. da República, then turn left. Follow Av. da República until you reach the roundabout at the end. From there, you will need to walk towards the east along the N2 road. The distance is around 8 kilometers, so it will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours on foot. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Estoi and the Roman Ruins.
