Metro
From the city center, take the Lisbon Metro (blue line) from the Baixa-Chiado station towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the next stop, which is Rossio station. From Rossio, exit the station and head towards the Praça da Figueira. Once you reach Praça da Figueira, continue walking uphill along Rua da Prata until you reach Rua do Arco a S. Mamede. The Arco de São Mamede will be located on your right.
Bus
Catch the bus number 204 or 758 from Praça da Figueira towards Campo de Ourique. Disembark at the stop called 'Arco de São Mamede.' From the bus stop, walk a few steps along Rua do Arco a S. Mamede, and you will find the Arco de São Mamede directly ahead.
Walking
If you are in the Chiado area, start at the Chiado square and walk towards the Carmo Convent. From there, head downhill to the Praça do Comércio. Continue straight until you reach Rua do Arco a S. Mamede. The Arco de São Mamede is located at the end of this street. It's a pleasant walk that will take about 15-20 minutes.
