Getting There

• Train

  From the center of Lisbon, head to the Rossio Train Station (Estação do Rossio). You can take the metro (Blue Line) to Rossio Station. Once at Rossio, purchase a ticket to Sintra (approximately €2.30). Board the train heading to Sintra, which departs frequently. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Sintra Station, exit the station and walk straight towards Avenida Dr. Miguel Bombarda. Turn left and take the bus number 435 towards 'Cabo da Roca'. Get off at the stop 'Caminho dos Frades'. Casa do Fauno will be a short walk from this bus stop.

  From Rossio Square in Lisbon, find the bus terminal at Praça da Figueira. Take the Scotturb bus number 403 towards Sintra. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you reach Sintra, get off at the 'Sintra Centro' stop. From there, walk to the nearby bus stop and take bus number 435 that goes towards 'Cabo da Roca'. Get off at the 'Caminho dos Frades' stop, and Casa do Fauno will be within walking distance.

• Taxi/Private Ride

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber. Simply set your destination to 'Casa do Fauno, Caminho dos Frades 1, Sintra'. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. This option provides the convenience of being dropped off right at the entrance.
