Train
From central Lisbon, make your way to Cais do Sodré Station. You can take the metro (Green Line) to reach the station. Once at Cais do Sodré, purchase a ticket for the Cascais Line. Board a train heading towards Cascais and enjoy a scenic ride along the coast. Disembark at the 'Cruz Quebrada' train station. From the station, walk towards the Av. Marginal. Continue on Av. Marginal for about 10 minutes until you reach Forte de São Julião da Barra, which will be located on your right.

Bus
Head to the nearest bus stop and take the bus number 721 (or 751) from Lisbon's city center, specifically from Praça do Comércio or Cais do Sodré. The bus will take you towards Algés. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop 'Cruz Quebrada - Forte de São Julião da Barra.' Once you get off, walk about 5 minutes along Av. Marginal, and you will see the fortress on your left.

Start at Praça do Comércio and take tram line 15 towards Algés. Stay on the tram until you reach the stop at 'Cruz Quebrada.' Once you disembark, walk towards Av. Marginal and continue straight for about 10 minutes. The Forte de São Julião da Barra will be on your right side.
