Train
From Lisbon, head to the Rossio Train Station (Estação do Rossio). You can get there by taking the Metro (Green Line) to Rossio Station. Once at Rossio, purchase a ticket for Sintra, which is approximately a 40-minute ride. Trains to Sintra run frequently, but check the schedule for exact times. Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Lisbon to Sintra. Head to the Sete Rios Bus Terminal (Estação de Sete Rios) by taking the Metro (Blue Line) to Jardim Zoológico. From Sete Rios, purchase your ticket to Sintra. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you get off at the Sintra bus terminal, follow the signs towards Av. Almeida Garrett, which is about a 15-minute walk.
Walking from Sintra Station
If you arrive at Sintra Station, walk towards the main road (Av. Dr. Alfredo da Silva) and take a left. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. Turn right onto Av. Almeida Garrett. The Palácio e Parque Biester will be on your left at number 1a. The walk takes approximately 15 minutes.
Walking from Sintra Bus Terminal
From the Sintra bus terminal, exit and walk straight towards the main road. Turn left onto Av. Almeida Garrett and follow it for about 1.2 kilometers. The Palácio e Parque Biester will be on your left at number 1a. This walk will take roughly 20 minutes.
