If you are near a metro station, take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the Rato station. From the Rato station, exit and walk towards the Praça do Príncipe Real. It’s about a 10-minute walk. Head north on Rua do Arco do Cego, then turn left onto Rua da Alegria. Continue straight until you reach the square.

You can also take Tram 28 if you are near its route. Board the tram at any of its stops and stay on until you reach the stop called 'Prazeres.' From there, walk up towards the Jardim de Príncipe Real, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head north on Rua do Vale de Santo António, then turn right onto Rua de São Bento, and follow the signs to the garden.

If you prefer to take the bus, look for bus lines 758 or 782. Board the bus and get off at the stop called 'Príncipe Real.' The garden is located just a short walk away from the bus stop; simply head towards Praça do Príncipe Real, and you will find the garden at the center of the square.

If you are already in the vicinity of Bairro Alto or Chiado, you can walk to the Jardim de Príncipe Real. From Praça Luis de Camões, head north on Rua da Misericórdia, then turn right onto Rua do Diário de Notícias. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Bento, then head straight until you arrive at Praça do Príncipe Real.
