If you are driving from the center of Sintra, head southeast on Rua Dr. Alfredo da Costa towards Av. Miguel Bombarda. Continue straight for about 1.5 km, then turn right onto Av. da Liberdade (N247). Follow this road for approximately 3 km. You will see signs for Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. Keep an eye out for the Lagoa dos Mosqueiros signs. When you reach the parking area, you can park your car. The lake is a short walk from the parking lot.

From the Sintra train station, take the bus number 441 towards Colares. The bus will take you through the beautiful Sintra landscape. Get off at the stop called 'Lagoa dos Mosqueiros'. The bus ride takes around 20 minutes. After disembarking, follow the path leading towards the lake; it is a short walk of about 10 minutes.

If you are near the historical center of Sintra, you can also consider walking to Lagoa dos Mosqueiros. Start from the Sintra National Palace and walk towards the direction of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. It is about a 4 km walk, which will take approximately 1 hour.
