Look for the sign for the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. Park at the designated parking area near the entrance to the park. From the parking lot, you will need to hike approximately 30 minutes down a steep path to reach Praia da Ursa. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring water!

Public Transportation
Take the bus from Sintra to Colares. The bus number 441 departs regularly from Sintra train station. Once you arrive in Colares, you can either walk to Praia da Ursa or take a taxi to the entrance of the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. If walking, follow the signs towards Praia das Maçãs and then look for the signs directing you to Praia da Ursa. The hike from the bus stop to the beach takes about 30 minutes. Ensure you check the bus schedule for the return trip.

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service from Sintra or Colares to the entrance of the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. This option is more convenient, especially if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to hike. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes from either location, and the fare should be around €10-€15. From the entrance, you will still need to hike down the path to the beach.
