If you are in the center of Setúbal, head towards the Setúbal train station located at Av. da Liberdade 30. From the train station, walk to the bus stop at the nearby Avenida 5 de Outubro. Take the bus number 500 towards Lisbon. After approximately 1 hour of travel, you will arrive at the Cais do Sodré bus terminal in Lisbon. From there, walk towards the Cais do Sodré metro station and take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Telheiras. Get off at the Chiado station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs towards Rua do Carmo. Walk along Rua do Carmo until you reach the Largo do Carmo. From the Largo do Carmo, head down the Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo. The Bica Funicular will be on your right at number 81-53.

From Setúbal, go to the Setúbal bus terminal located near the city center. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Lisbon (Lisboa). The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Lisbon bus terminal (Sete Rios or Campo Grande), look for the metro entrance. Take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Change at the Baixa-Chiado station and transfer to the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Cais do Sodré. Get off at the Chiado station. Exit the station and head towards Rua do Carmo. Proceed to Largo do Carmo and continue down Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo. The Bica Funicular is located at number 81-53.
