Walking
If you are in the center of Sintra, start at the Sintra train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida Dr. Alfredo da Silva. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the bus terminal next to the Sintra National Palace. From there, take bus number 434 towards the Pena Palace. After a short ride, get off at the last stop, which is the Pena Palace. After your visit, walk back to the bus stop and take bus number 435 to the Sintra train station. Once at the train station, catch a train to Lisbon. Upon arrival at Rossio station in Lisbon, walk towards Praça da Figueira and then follow the signs or ask for directions to Praça do Comércio, which is a short 10-minute walk.

From Sintra, take the Scotturb bus number 434 or 435 from the Sintra train station to the historic center. Both buses will take you to the main attractions in Sintra. Once you finish your visit, take the same bus back to the train station. Once there, board a train towards Lisbon (Cascais line). When you arrive at Rossio station, exit and follow the signs to Praça da Figueira. From Praça da Figueira, it’s a 10-minute walk to Praça do Comércio.
