From the center of Vila Real, walk to the nearest bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Vila Real, located at Avenida de Fátima. Look for the bus service to Sabrosa. Buses may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance. The journey to Sabrosa takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Sabrosa, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 20 minutes towards the N323 road, following the signs towards Miradouro de Sabrosa. The viewpoint is located along this road, and you will see it well-marked.

If you prefer to walk the distance from Vila Real to Miradouro de Sabrosa, start at the Praça do Município in Vila Real and head east on Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the N2 highway. Follow the N2 towards Sabrosa, which is about a 12 km distance. This route will take you through some beautiful landscapes, but be prepared for a long walk. After approximately 2.5 hours of walking, you will reach Sabrosa. From Sabrosa, head towards the N323 road where the viewpoint is located, which is about a 20-minute walk.
