Start from the center of Vila Real, at Praça do Município. Head southeast on Rua do Comércio until you reach Avenida 10 de Junho. Turn left onto Avenida 10 de Junho and continue straight for about 600 meters. You will pass by Parque Natural do Alvão on your right. Keep walking until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto N323, and follow the signs for Miradouro São Cristovão. The scenic viewpoint will be on your left after a short walk of about 1 kilometer.

From the main bus station in Vila Real, take the bus towards São Cristovão do Douro. The bus will take you along the N323 route. Once you arrive at São Cristovão do Douro, look for signs directing you to Miradouro São Cristovão, which is a short walk away from the bus stop. You will need to walk approximately 500 meters uphill to reach the viewpoint.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, begin at Praça do Município and head southeast on Rua do Comércio. Continue onto Avenida 10 de Junho and follow it for about 600 meters. Once at the roundabout, take the second exit onto N323. The bike ride to Miradouro São Cristovão is approximately 2 kilometers, and the road is relatively easy to navigate. There will be a bike rack at the viewpoint where you can park your bicycle.
