From Vila Real city center, walk to the main bus station located at Av. de 1º de Maio. Take the bus heading towards Peso da Régua. Ensure you check the schedule to catch a bus, as they may vary throughout the day. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Quinta do Tedo' stop. From there, walk along the N-222 for about 10 minutes, following the signs towards Quinta do Tedo which will be on your right.

If you enjoy walking and are up for a 1.5-hour trek, start from the Praça da República in the city center. Head west towards Rua da Misericórdia, then take a right onto N-313. Continue on this road until you reach the N-222 junction. Turn left onto N-222 and follow it for about 6 km until you arrive at Quinta do Tedo. Be mindful of traffic as you walk along the side of the road.
