From Port of San Juan, start by heading west on Avenida Ponce de León toward Calle de la Cruz. Follow signs for PR-22 W. Merge onto PR-22 W and continue for about 26 miles. Take exit 24 for PR-2 toward Bayamón/Dorado. Continue on PR-2 for approximately 5 miles. Look for signs for Dorado and merge onto PR-693. Follow PR-693 until you reach Calle Paseo la Balandra, where Playa Vega Alta is located. The beach will be on your left. Parking is available nearby.

From Port of San Juan, you can take the 'Dorado' bus (Route D53) from the bus terminal. Make sure to confirm the bus schedule, as times may vary. The bus will take you towards Dorado, and you will need to get off at the stop nearest to PR-2.
