Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the heart of the Caribbean National Forest, head southwest on PR-191 towards PR-186. Continue on PR-186 until you reach PR-2. Merge onto PR-2 and drive west towards Vega Baja. Take exit 49 towards Vega Baja and merge onto PR-22. Continue on PR-22 until you reach the exit for Vega Baja (exit 37). After exiting, turn left onto Calle Monserrate. Continue straight for about 1 mile, then turn right onto 51 Calle. Roca Norte Outdoor Climbing Gym will be on your left.

Public Transportation
To reach Roca Norte by public transportation, start by taking the bus from the main bus terminal in San Juan to Vega Baja. The bus fare is approximately $2.00. Once you arrive in Vega Baja, you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Calle Monserrate. Taxis may charge around $10-$15 for the ride. Upon reaching Calle Monserrate, walk towards 51 Calle, where the climbing gym is located.

For the adventurous, cycling to Roca Norte is also an option. From the main entry point of Caribbean National Forest, take PR-191 south until you reach PR-186. Follow PR-186 and then merge onto PR-2 west. Continue until you reach the exit for Vega Baja and follow local roads to Calle Monserrate. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules. Note that this route may be challenging due to elevation changes.
