Getting There

Walking
Start from the Al Sheehaniya Park, which is centrally located. Head east on Al Sheehaniya Street until you reach the intersection with Al Gharafa Street. Turn right onto Al Gharafa Street and continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Al Sheehaniya Museum. From the museum, take a left on the street that leads towards the outskirts of the city. After about 500 meters, you will find a local bus stop. Board a bus heading towards the direction of Umm Salal, and inform the driver that you want to get off at the Zakreet Beach East stop.

From the Al Sheehaniya Central Market, take a local bus heading towards Doha. This bus will take you along the main highway. After approximately 20 minutes, ask the driver to let you off at the Zakreet Beach East stop. The bus runs every 30 minutes, so make sure you check the schedule ahead of time. Once you get off the bus, head east for about 500 meters, and you will reach the beach.
