Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving within Burlingame State Park, make your way to the main park road, which is known as Burlingame State Park Road. Follow the signs that direct you towards the Kettle Pond Visitor Center. As you approach the visitor center, you will see a sign for Bend Road. Turn onto Bend Road and continue for about half a mile. The Kettle Pond Visitor Center will be located at 50 Bend Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813. There is parking available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    For those relying on public transportation, the nearest bus service is the RIPTA bus service. You should take the Route 66 bus towards Westerly. Get off at the nearest stop to the entrance of Burlingame State Park. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along the main park road to reach the Kettle Pond Visitor Center. This walk will take you through the beautiful scenery of the park. It is recommended to check the current bus schedule for any changes in service.
