Getting There

  • Bus

    From East Greenwich, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street and catch the RIPTA bus #14 towards Providence. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Memorial Blvd & Francis St. From there, Waterplace Park is just a short 5-minute walk. Head northeast on Memorial Blvd, and you will see the entrance to Waterplace Park on your left.

  • Train

    Head to the East Greenwich train station located on Railroad Ave. Take the MBTA train towards Boston and get off at the Providence station, which takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Providence station, exit and walk towards the north on Exchange St. Turn right onto Memorial Blvd, and Waterplace Park will be on your left after a 10-minute walk.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in East Greenwich. Start your ride on Main St heading north, then take a left onto Division St. Follow the road until you reach the bike path that leads to the waterfront. Continue on the path for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Memorial Blvd in Providence. Waterplace Park will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start at the center of East Greenwich at Main Street. Head north towards Division St, then continue straight onto the pedestrian walkway that leads towards Providence. This scenic walk is about 4 miles and will take you approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach Memorial Blvd in Providence, Waterplace Park will be to your left.
