    If you're driving, head towards Ocean Drive in Newport, RI. From downtown Newport, follow America's Cup Avenue until it merges into Memorial Boulevard. Continue on Memorial Boulevard, which becomes Ocean Drive. Brenton Point State Park is located on your left, just past the intersection with Brenton Road. There is a parking area available at the park, and parking is free.

    To reach Brenton Point State Park via public transportation, take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus #67 (Newport Loop) from anywhere in Newport. You can catch this bus at various locations including the Gateway Center. Request to get off at the stop closest to Ocean Drive. From there, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the park. Head south on Ocean Drive, and you will see the entrance to Brenton Point State Park on your left.
