    From anywhere in Newport County, head towards the city of Newport. If you are on US-1, take the exit for RI-138 E towards Newport. Continue on RI-138 E until you reach the Newport Bridge toll booth. The toll is approximately $4.00 for passenger vehicles. After crossing the bridge, follow signs for downtown Newport. Once in downtown Newport, follow America's Cup Avenue until you reach the intersection with Thames Street. Turn left onto Thames Street and continue along the waterfront. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Fort Adams Drive. The entrance to Fort Adams State Park will be on your left at 80 Fort Adams Drive.
