Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of College Hill, head south on Benefit Street. Walk down Benefit Street until you reach the intersection with South Main Street. Turn left onto South Main Street and continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection with Memorial Boulevard, turn right. Waterplace Park will be on your left side, just a short walk down Memorial Boulevard.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    From College Hill, you can catch the RIPTA bus at the nearest bus stop on Thayer Street. Take the number 1 bus towards Kennedy Plaza. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Kennedy Plaza stop. From Kennedy Plaza, walk towards Memorial Boulevard. Waterplace Park is a short 5-minute walk from there; just head west on Memorial Boulevard, and you will find the park on your left.
