Walking
If you are in the center of Westerly, start by heading east on Main Street towards the intersection with High Street. Continue straight onto Canal Street. Follow Canal Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross the street carefully, and you will find a bus stop for the public transit service. Take the bus heading towards Narragansett. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Montauk Highway stop. From there, walk towards the coast, following the signs for Star Island Rd. Continue on Star Island Rd for about 10-15 minutes, and you will arrive at the Montauk Star Fishing Boat, located at 53 Star Island Rd.

Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, begin at Wilcox Park in Westerly. Head east on High Street and then turn left onto Canal Street. Follow Canal Street until the intersection with Route 1. Carefully cross Route 1 and continue straight to find the bike path along the Montauk Highway. Follow the bike path for approximately 5 miles until you reach the area near Montauk. Once you reach Montauk, turn onto Star Island Rd and ride for about 1 mile until you arrive at the Montauk Star Fishing Boat located at 53 Star Island Rd.

Public Transit
From the Westerly Train Station, take the Amtrak service heading south to the Montauk Station. The train ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Montauk Station, exit and walk towards the main road. Catch the public bus that goes to Star Island Rd. Get off at the Star Island Rd stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the Montauk Star Fishing Boat, which is located at 53 Star Island Rd.
