Walking
From the center of Westerly, start at the Westerly Train Station located at 8 Railroad Ave. Head east on Railroad Ave towards Main St. Continue straight onto Main St and follow it for about 1.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (Post Rd). Turn right onto Route 1 and follow the signs for Newport. After approximately 14 miles, follow the signs for Newport and merge onto RI-138 E. Continue on RI-138 E, which will lead you over the Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge. Once across the bridge, keep right to merge onto US-1 S toward Newport. After about 7 miles, take the exit toward Route 138 E/Newport. Follow the signs for Newport and merge onto RI-138 E. Continue on this road until you reach Farewell St. Turn left onto Farewell St, and the Great Friends Meeting House will be on your left at 21 Farewell St.

Begin your journey at the Westerly Train Station and purchase a ticket for a train heading to Newport. The train ride typically takes about 50 minutes. After arriving at Newport Station, exit the station and head southwest on America’s Cup Ave. Continue straight for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Thames St. Turn left onto Thames St and walk for about 0.7 miles. You'll reach the intersection with Farewell St. Turn right onto Farewell St, and the Great Friends Meeting House will be located at 21 Farewell St on your left.
