Car
If you are in Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, start by heading south on Yawgoo Valley Rd toward Route 138. Take a left onto Route 138 East and continue for approximately 4 miles. When you reach the intersection with Route 1, take a right onto Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 for about 5 miles, then take the exit for Jamestown. Merge onto North Main Rd and continue until you reach Fort Wetherill Rd. Turn left onto Fort Wetherill Rd, and you will find Fort Wetherill State Park at 3 Fort Wetherill Rd, Jamestown, RI 02835.

Public Transportation
From Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, head to the nearest bus stop on Route 138. Take the public bus heading towards Newport and get off at the bus terminal in Newport. From there, transfer to the Jamestown route bus. Once on the Jamestown bus, ask the driver to drop you off near Fort Wetherill Rd. Walk approximately 0.5 miles down Fort Wetherill Rd, and you will arrive at Fort Wetherill State Park located at 3 Fort Wetherill Rd, Jamestown, RI 02835.
