Walking
Start from the center of Baia Mare, specifically at the main square, Piata Revolutiei. Head south on Strada 1 Mai until you reach the intersection with Strada Dacilor. Turn left onto Strada Dacilor and continue straight. You will pass by some local shops and cafes. After about 1 km, you will reach the entrance of the Piatra Șoimului Nature Reserve. Follow the marked trails from the entrance to reach the Piatra Șoimului viewpoint, which is approximately another 1 km uphill.

From the center of Baia Mare, walk to the bus station located at Strada Gheorghe Şincai. Take bus number 14 towards Valea Borcutului. The bus will take you towards the outskirts of Baia Mare. Get off at the stop named 'Piatra Șoimului'. From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to the nature reserve entrance, which is about a 15-minute walk away. The entrance is well-marked and leads to the hiking trails.
