Car
If you are traveling by car, you can start from the town of Beiuș. Head southwest on DN76 towards the village of Măgura. The drive takes about 30 minutes. Once in Măgura, look for signs directing you to Apuseni Natural Park. Park your car at the designated parking area near the entrance to the park. From the parking lot, follow the marked hiking trails towards Chup little waterfall. The trail is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take around 30 minutes to hike.
Public Transportation
To reach Chup little waterfall using public transportation, take a train or bus to Beiuș. From Beiuș, take a local bus to Măgura. Buses may run less frequently, so be sure to check the schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive in Măgura, you will need to walk to the entrance of Apuseni Natural Park. From there, follow the marked trails to Chup little waterfall, which is about 1.5 kilometers away. It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes as the trail can be uneven and may require some hiking.
Hiking
For those already in the Bihor Mountains, if you are near the village of Măgura, you can start your hike directly to Chup little waterfall. Look for the entrance to Apuseni Natural Park and follow the marked trails. The hike is roughly 1.5 kilometers and will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to have adequate water and snacks for the journey, as there are no facilities along the trail.
