If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Arieșeni, which is a well-known starting point for reaching Coiba Mare Cave. From Arieșeni, take DJ107M road towards the village of Băița. Follow the signs for 'Pestera Coiba Mare' as you approach the area. Once you reach the parking area, you will find signs directing you to the cave entrance. The drive from Arieșeni to the cave is approximately 20 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Oradea or Alba Iulia to Arieșeni. Buses are available throughout the day, and the journey takes about two hours. Once in Arieșeni, you can either take a taxi or arrange for a local transport service to reach Coiba Mare Cave, which is about 6 kilometers away from the town. Confirm with your driver to ensure they will take you directly to the cave entrance.
