If you are driving, you can reach Dracoaia Cave by navigating to the coordinates 46.5336741, 22.5838831. From the nearest town, Beiuș, head southeast on DN76 towards the mountains. After approximately 15 km, turn onto DJ764 towards Câmpani. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you see the sign for Dracoaia Cave. There is a parking area available nearby, but note that it may fill up quickly during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
To reach Dracoaia Cave via public transport, first take a train or bus to Beiuș. From Beiuș, you can take a local bus towards Câmpani. Make sure to check the local schedule as the frequency can vary. Once in Câmpani, you’ll need to hire a taxi or arrange for a local transport service to take you the remaining 10 km to Dracoaia Cave. Be prepared for additional costs here; taxi fares can vary but expect to pay around 30-50 RON for the ride.
