Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest city, Oradea. Head south on DN76 towards Beius. After approximately 50 km, you will reach the town of Beius. From Beius, take DN75 towards Sudrigiu. After around 20 km, you will see signs for Apuseni Natural Park on your right. Follow the signs to reach the park entrance located in Sudrigiu, Comuna Rieni, 417419. Ensure you have a GPS device or a map app for real-time navigation, as some rural roads may not be well-marked.
Public Transportation
For public transport, take a train or bus from Oradea to Beius. Buses to Beius leave regularly from Oradea's main bus station, and the journey takes about an hour. Upon arriving in Beius, you can catch a local bus heading towards Sudrigiu. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary. Once in Sudrigiu, the park entrance is within walking distance. Keep some Romanian currency handy for bus fares, typically around 10-15 RON.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a ride-sharing service from Oradea to Apuseni Natural Park. The journey should take approximately 1.5 hours and may cost around 150-200 RON, depending on traffic. This option is best for those who prefer convenience or are traveling in a group.
