Getting There

Walking
Start from the Deva Train Station. Exit the station and head north on Strada Horea. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Strada 22 Decembrie. Turn right onto Strada 22 Decembrie and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see a large park on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the park, where you will also see signs for the Fortress of Deva. Follow the signs leading you to Strada Cetății. The fortress is located at the end of this street, around 1 km away from the park entrance.

Public Transport
From Deva Train Station, take bus number 1 or 2 from the bus stop located right outside the station. The bus will take you towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Cetate' which is the nearest stop to the fortress. After getting off, follow the signs to Strada Cetății, which is just a short 5-minute walk uphill to the fortress entrance.
