If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Sighetu Marmației, which is about 20 km away from Săpânța. Head southeast on DN19 towards Săpânța. After approximately 15 km, turn left onto DJ186, following the signs for Săpânța. After another 5 km, you will arrive in the village of Săpânța. Follow the local road signs to Cascada Săpînta, which is located near the village's outskirts. Parking is available near the waterfall site, but there may be a small parking fee.

To reach Cascada Săpînta using public transportation, take a bus from Sighetu Marmației to Săpânța. Buses operate regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
