Car
If you're driving, start from the town of Baia Mare. Take DN1C towards Sighetu Marmației. Continue on DN18 and then take the exit towards Târgu Lăpuș. After approximately 10 km, turn right onto DJ109B and follow the signs for Tăușeni. Drive for about 12 km until you reach the village of Tăușeni. Look for the sign for Cascada Ștur; the parking area is nearby.
Public Transportation
From Baia Mare, take a bus to Sighetu Marmației. Once in Sighetu Marmației, transfer to a minibus heading to Tăușeni. Inform the driver that you want to go to Cascada Ștur. The ride should take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tăușeni, you may need to walk approximately 2 km to reach the waterfall, following the trail that leads toward Taul lui Dumitru.
Walking
Once you have parked your car or arrived by public transport in Tăușeni, look for the trail that leads to Cascada Ștur. The path is well-marked and takes about 30 minutes to walk. Enjoy the scenic nature along the way, and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
