Getting there

Car

If you are driving from the city of Baia Mare, take the DN18 road towards Sighetu Marmației. After approximately 60 km, follow the signs to Borșa by taking the DJ187 road. Continue on DJ187 for about 30 km until you reach Borșa. Once in Borșa, look for Str. Prisăcii and follow it until you arrive at Telegondola Borșa, located at Str. Prisăcii 2 A. There is parking available near the cable car station.

Public Transportation

From Baia Mare, take a bus to Sighetu Marmației. The journey takes about 1 hour and buses run frequently throughout the day. Upon arriving in Sighetu Marmației, transfer to a bus heading to Borșa. This leg of the journey will take around 1 hour. Once in Borșa, you can either walk or take a taxi to Str. Prisăcii 2 A, where Telegondola Borșa is located. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, especially on weekends.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Baia Mare directly to Telegondola Borșa. This option may be more expensive, costing approximately 200-300 RON (around 40-60 EUR) depending on traffic and the taxi company.
