Car
If you are driving from the center of Mehedinți, head towards Orșova via the DN6 road. Continue on DN6 for approximately 30 kilometers. Once you reach Orșova, follow signs for Strada Pamfil Șeicaru. The monastery is located at Strada Pamfil Șeicaru 6, Orșova 225200. There is parking available near the monastery. Note that there may be a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Saint Ana Monastery by public transport, take a bus from the main bus station in Drobeta-Turnu Severin to Orșova. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arrival in Orșova, you can either walk or take a taxi to Strada Pamfil Șeicaru 6, which is roughly a 10-minute taxi ride or a 20-minute walk. Expect to pay around 10-15 RON for a taxi. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
Walking from Orșova
If you are already in Orșova, you can reach Saint Ana Monastery on foot. From the city center, head southeast on Strada 1 Decembrie towards Strada Pamfil Șeicaru. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. The monastery will be on your left at Strada Pamfil Șeicaru 6. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
