Car
If you're traveling by car from the center of Râșnov, start by heading southeast on Strada Poienelor toward Strada Valea Cetății. Continue straight for about 2 km. You will reach a fork; keep left to stay on DJ138. After approximately 3 km, you will see signs for Gold Pit (Fosa de Aur). Turn left onto a smaller road that leads directly to the site. Parking is available nearby.

To reach Gold Pit using public transportation, take a local bus from the Râșnov bus station. Look for the bus heading towards Predeal. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop near the Gold Pit (the driver can assist with this). From the bus stop, follow the signs leading to Gold Pit, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill.
