Getting There

    If you are starting from the Sighișoara Train Station, exit the station and head southeast on Strada Gării towards Strada Ștefan cel Mare. Turn left onto Strada Ștefan cel Mare and continue walking straight until you reach Piața Hermann Oberth. From there, take Strada Cositorarilor, which will lead you up towards the Citadel. Follow the cobblestone path as you ascend; it will lead you directly to the entrance of Sighișoara Citadel, located at Piața Cetății.

    If you're in the central area of Sighișoara, such as the main square (Piața Cetății), simply head towards the Citadel’s entrance which is located at the same square. The Citadel is very accessible and you can see its impressive towers and walls from the square itself.

    From the Clock Tower (Turnul cu Ceas), which is a prominent landmark, walk straight down Piața Cetății. The Citadel is right next to the Clock Tower, and you can enter through the gates nearby. Look for signs directing you into the Citadel area.
