If you are starting from the main square, Piata Cetatii, exit towards the east side where the clock tower is located. Walk down Strada Tineretului, then take a right onto Strada Scarii. You’ll see the start of The Covered Stairway (Scara Şcolarilor) after a short walk. It is directly accessible from this street.

From the Sighișoara Citadel, head down the hill towards the old town, following the signs to the main square. Once you reach Piata Cetatii, continue east along Strada Tineretului. Turn right onto Strada Scarii, and you will find The Covered Stairway shortly after. Look for the wooden steps leading upwards.
